1) Not having enough motivation to continue reading
2) It's getting nearer to sleep time but still can't fight the guilt to go sleep; yet still don't feel like reading
3) Resort to Facebook surfing
4) Aimlessly browsing on Facebook friends' updates
5) Continue step 4
6) See photos of local Malaysian/Chinese food that always look tastier than they actually appear
7) The looking-delicious-photos (conditioned stimulus) results in salivation and growling stomach (conditioned response) --> Feeling a little hungry this late
8) Realize that I only have milk, cereals, biscuits, bread, and almost any American food one can think of within reach but not Malaysian food. Not THE food in the photos on Facebook.
9) Continue staring on the photos and start browsing all of them.
10) Repeat step 7 & 8.
11) Finally hopelessly minimize the internet browser and go back to study
12) Having images of food floating 5cm above the pages I'm staring at
13) Continue 'reading' while gulping down drools
14) Go to bed with the same images (or maybe even more)
Lesson learned: Avoid ALL photos on Facebook friends' updates.
