1) Why would someone bother putting up make-ups early in the morning when they only take an approximately 10-minute walk from the dorm to campus's dining hall for breakfast.
2) Ok, fine. Assume they are going somewhere else after breakfast. Why would someone use a BRIGHT RED lipstick early in the morning? (A Sunday 12pm is quite early, though I had already started to work for an hour). I think I will assume she's going for a performance on stage. - her lipstick color is as bright as, err, a bright red spotlight? I thought she was going to act as a ghost in a movie somewhere after the breakfast.
I thought Japanese should have quite a good sense of fashion. Or they probably just looked and spoke like Japanese. The girl with the red lipstick beat her friend flat, making her friend's make-ups more presentable than hers.

Bright red lipstick? Seriously. Wait! That reminds me of the lipstick on the movie 'Geisha'!! Exactly the same 'Geisha' lipstick color.
